Repetitive movements like eating, breathing or walking are controlled by simple neural networks able to create rhythmic patterns out of minimal energy. They are called Central Pattern Generators (CPGs).
Neuromorphic systems are electronical circuits inspired by biology, seeking to be more efficient than traditional architectures.
The goal of this project is to build a neuromorphic CPG that generates a rhythm able to induce a pendulum-like movement, replicating bipedal locomotion.
